Dr. Jill Reidelberger is the owner and operator of Overwatch Animal Hospital. She purchased the clinic in September of 2017. She is originally from Chicago IL and she received her DVM from the "Land Down Under" at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. She served six years of active duty in the US Army. Her duty stations included Fort Hood, Fort Campbell, and FOB Shank, Afghanistan. Dr. Reidelberger is very passionate about treating exotic pets and will go above and beyond to save even the smallest of creatures. When she isn't working, she enjoys traveling, fitness and spending as much time as possible with her husband and their two children.

Dr. Tate

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Andrea Tate has over 20 years of veterinary medicine and surgical experience in small and large animal practice. She is a 1999 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, and a 1989 graduate of Murray State University’s Agriculture/Animal Health Technology program. She has operated her own mixed animal veterinary hospital in Alabama, as well as having been the Director of Equine Therapy at Midway College, Midway, Ky. This sparked a passion for including alternative therapies, such as laser, massage, chiropractic, and acupressure. She is currently enrolled in a mixed animal chiropractic course.

Family ties brought her to Clarksville, where she was employed by Banfield Pet Hospital in Clarksville, TN for 14 years. As Chief of Staff of a full-service veterinary hospital, she managed a team of doctors and veterinary assistants devoted to the wellness and preventive care of pets. In addition to mentoring graduating veterinarians, Dr. Tate was involved with the summer internship programs for junior veterinary students and aiding equine rescue organizations with medical triage and fostering. She is currently an adjunct professor of Austin Peay State University, where she instructs senior veterinary technology students in their critical care course of study.

Dr. Tate’s specialties include emergency and critical care medicine, as well as orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Her Banfield team received the Quality of Medicine awards for all Tennessee Banfield Pet Hospitals for three years consecutively and she has been previously nominated as a top Tennessee Orthopedic Veterinary Surgeon.

Dr. Tate more recently has developed an interest in geriatric pet medicine with her new goals on pain management with alternative therapies, incorporating weight management protocols, CBD treatments and laser therapy for pets, while continuing to focus on providing fear-free medicine techniques. As a team member of Overwatch Animal Hospital, she is looking forward to expanding on these exciting goals, as well as gaining insightful knowledge into exotic medicine!

In her spare time, Dr. Tate enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids, as well as her four dogs and six horses. Her dream goal would be to ride in a dressage competition some day!

Head Veterinary Assistant
Candy is our head VA and has been with our clinic for over 20 years. She loves what she does every day and it shows in her glowing personality and dedication to client interaction and relationships. The wonderfully loyal clientele of Overwatch Animal Hospital are credited for keeping Candy around for so long. Candy continues to enjoy the veterinary field because, as she puts it "I've been here 20 years and I still learn something new every day." Candy is married to her childhood sweetheart and has two children. She and her family enjoy spending time at the lake and boating. She owns two Staffordshire Terriers, Taisley and Titan, who she shows in AKC dog shows. Both pets have been successful and even come home with several ribbons and an invite to the international dog show in Florida!

Veterinary Assistant
Vanessa comes to us with nearly two decades of experience in the Veterinary field. Her experience ranges from working in big corporate environments to small family-owned veterinary facilities. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include pathology, cytology, and anesthesia/surgery. Vanessa takes pride in balancing her home and work life. She loves the outdoors and nature, although, with such a busy schedule, she doesn’t get out to explore it nearly enough. However, during the cold season, she loves to cozy up by a fire with her husband, daughter and some hot cocoa.

Veterinary Assistant
Ashley comes to us all the way from Orange County, California. She loves the fast-paced environment of being a VA and the variety of tasks that must be performed with each patient. She enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of not only the animals but also their owners. Ashley reaches for the stars and has set a long term goal to become a Cardiovascular Surgeon, a feat we all know one day she will accomplish. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and two cats, reading, studying, as well as, camping and traveling.

Veterinary Assistant
Rodney joined our crew back in May. He hails from “America’s Dairyland,” Wisconsin, particularly famous for its cheese. When asked if Rodney likes cheese, though, he said “only on my pizza.” Rodney is seeking his veterinary technician degree through Penn Foster. He married his childhood sweetheart and has 3 cats who they love like children. Rodney particularly loves surgery and being there for pets and their families during difficult times. His sense of humor helps lighten the environment at OAH and we are thrilled to have his as a part of our team.
